To Build a Successful Business, Carpe Diem – But Always Tackle the Worst, First!

Yes, as they say:

  • Seize the day!
  • Make today matter!
  • Why put off for tomorrow what you can do today?

I could not agree more.

Do your most difficult tasks first!

But if you want to build a successful business, and if you want a happy, productive and stress-free life, always tackle the worst projects and challenges, first!

For over 30 years I have advised clients nationwide regarding how to achieve their goals and objectives with their businesses and how to succeed and prosper with their businesses.

In addition to providing guidance on how to build successful businesses, I've also advised countless business owner clients regarding matters in their personal lives.

Most of us like to avoid our worst, nastiest, messiest, ugliest, and most difficult projects and challenges. It is only human nature to avoid the most vexing issues and controversies. It is very understandable. But consider this:

Problems and Challenges Don't Go Away If We Ignore Them!

Issues aren't resolved if they are swept under the rug.  In fact, problems, challenges, and issues often fester and get worse if ignored or swept under the rug.  The chickens will always come home to roost.

As we ignore problems, challenges, and issues, they also tend to weigh heavily on our minds. Stress anyone?

So, with the benefit of my experience counseling business owners and my own life experience with family and friends, I encourage all business owners to build more successful businesses and have more enjoyable, productive and stress-free lives by always tackling their worst problems, challenges, and issues first.

Tackle them head on promptly after they raise their ugly heads and be done with it!

Yes, carpe diem! That, and always tackle the worst (problems/challenges/issues) first!
