Why Solve Problems That Can Be Prevented?
I read recently of a nearby law firm’s slogan, or call to action.
“We solve [clients’] problems”, the slogan or call to action proclaimed.
Well… It sounds good, but I had to think about that one for a moment.
I realized that one thing that sets our new model law firm apart from other, typically big law or old school, law firms is that we truly endeavor to assist our clients to AVOID legal problems altogether!
A legal “problem” is most likely a lawsuit. Most are typically long and drawn out, stressful and expensive, and at best uncertain/ unpredictable. Painful!
Our attorneys are seasoned and have seen most everything. We put our breadth and depth of experience and judgment regarding possibly legal perils to work everyday for our clients. This unrelenting effort to anticipate any and all problems well in advance can often proactively plan to avoid the problems altogether.
We are in business to assist our clients in anticipating and avoiding legal problems.
And believe me, in law as in life, an ounce of prevention is worth at least a full pound of cure!
